RECIPES - Garlic Mashed SLV Potatoes
1 1/2 lbs. red potatoes, quartered
2 cloves garlic (more as many as you want to your taste)
3/4 Cup sour cream
1/4 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. chopped, fresh parsley
1 Tbsp. chopped, fresh chives
3/4 Tsp. pepper
1/4 Tsp. Mustard powder
Additional butter or margine to taste.
Preparation
- In a cooking pot combine potatoes and garlic with enough water to cover.
- Over high heat bring to a boil
- Reduce heat to medium
- Cook until poatoes are tender, about 1/2 hr.
- Drain and return to pot.
- Mash potatoes and garlic with sour cream, milk, butter, parsley, chives, salt, pepper and mustard.
- Serve topped with additional butter, paprika, or more parsley.
